Hi Folks, my RD03 runs rough and as part of the process following a review of various threads then I’m on with checking the choke operation, diaphragms, inlet insulators, jets, etc. First attempt found hard inlets so to replace but I’ve no experience on what condition the diaphragms should be. No rips and look complete but very flimsy rubber. I’ve attached images and wonder if someone would offer advice on what I should be looking for and if they look good. Also, best way to check out the choke operation. Many thanks

There is a rubber parts company in the USA that makes diaphragms for carbies. I'll find the link, but you'll have to do the research to see if your model is covered. I got mine for a '77 Z750B twin, ther same as the XS650 twin. This is it:
