Due to me being bitten by the Mountain Biking bug again, i'm selling my RD03 early August, just going on one last trip to the Southern Alps on it first. lots of parts replaced, Tax and Mot'd.
£1100 or nearest decent offer.
OR a Specialized FSR XC and cash.

Will post photos if anyone interested.

Needs must, to be honest J. I've enjoyed the time i have had with it (XRV Ride-outs, Nationals, Offroading, Continental Trips) But the Mountain Bike Bug has bit hard again, and the DR is staying for the time being.

I have had an offer off a member, but if it goes pear shaped i'll let interested paties know :thumbright:

Interesting comment, to be honest, that kind of consumption isn't really a hardship to cope with as long as a person can get themselves out of bed in the morning without help and has opposible thumbs .

In addittion, normal town/lane riding has no effect on the oil level, it is only when giving it the berries, so to speak, does it start to use any.

My RD01, Transalp and AT( only done about 700 miles on this bike and its looking to have the same manners as the others two ) use no oil....

so when an AT use oil it is worn.. from what you say it may just need rings and a simple top-end overhaul.. the danger is that the consumption gets excessive rather quickly and an oil light goes unnoticed and serious mischief happens, which would be a shame , but as you say its manageable

you know you should really keep it :D
