Hi all,

I'm trying to work out what a couple of the electrical components on my RD03 are doing. I would like to carry spares for all of the 'game over' failure parts when touring.

I don't understand why the indicator relays have two different part numbers, anyone got a clue?

38301KJ6743 - RELAY COMP, WINKER
38301MG2008 - RELAY COMP, WINKER

I have seen this part referred to as a pilot lamp check unit on ebay, I thought it might be acting as a primitive fault finding device?

Great to have some input from those in the know!

Hi sport, any chance you could give me a clue as to were the indicator relay is hiding and were to purchase a replacment and the part numbers (RD/04) if possible. I have had to replace the front ones for the MOT as they were the wrong colour and buy chance they stopped flashing, all normal bulbs. Grabbed a pair of cheap ones for now wire colours dont match does it make any differance how you connect them up? Regards and thanks in advance.

The change in part no was that the old one was superceded when a different manufacture / supplier was used > Mitsuba > Denso)

For RD04 > Looks like the indicator relay is in the fairing
