I was unable to find the exact thermistor. I found that to make it work i needed higher wattage indicator bulbs than standard. They pulled slightly more current which was required to start the heating process, this in-turn allows the thermistor to switch on the bulbs once the petrol level had dropped below the sensor. I seem to remember that when i removed the thermister from the aluminium can, it had marking on it that allowed me to order a similar component. I hope this helps.
