Hola - my name is inigo mon...no...wait...wrong forum....

Has anyone put a RD03 screen on their RD04? Or a lower screen from another donor? It's getting pretty toasty over here and the large/touring screen that's on my RD04 is blocking a lot of wind (something that's a godsend in winter or on long motorway journeys).

Here's what would be ideal - circled in red...

I just don't know if it'd fit - if no one can confirm I may just go ahead and source a 2nd hand one....but I'd love to know for sure :)

Don't spose you know if it's the curvature that's wrong (in which case it's unusable) or "simply" the placement of the bolt holes (in which case I'm prepared to bodge). The difference in cooling is pretty dramatic and it's running pretty toasty here right now - 30c + for days if not weeks on end.

What about simply cutting an RD04 screen. Just chop the top.... ;-)

Rugged roads do a different rally style screen which is further forward, slightly higher than the standard screen but lower than a touring screen

It is actually shorter than the one I have on my RD04

I have not tried an RD03 screen

Another option would be to cut down a standard RD04 screen
How good is this screen? I find the strandard one quite annoying since it gives me a lot of buffeting from 70 kph and up. I'm 176 cm tall, so im no giant by any means but still, the standard screen doenst protect me very well. So Im curious what your experience is iwith this one
