Hi peeps
Newbie owner here. Just picked up a mint 03 AT which has a lower seat fitted.
As a tall guy I’d prefer to fit a standard height or taller seat, what are my options please ?
Ta in advance

There's quite a few seat specialists who could re-profile your existing seat to give it more height (and a new cover to suit). I had this done on my 02 bike when the OE seat cover wore through a while ago. I had a gel pad included which raised the height a bit. I think it cost around £150 six yrs ago. You can see the re-profiled seat if you go to my website (ref. my signature line) and go to the menu and click on 'The bike and sidecar'. Or try to get a decent OE seat albeit that could be easier said than done.
Edit - picture of your new acquisition is required!
Edit - here it is; taken in 2017 at 52k miles shortly before the Ural was fitted.....

That's a great looking example, exactly the same as my '02 one. What mileage is it?
I'll post details of the chap who did my seat, they're under the seat base if I recall correctly.

Assuming that you live in Westerham, you might like to visit Viking Seats, located in New Ash Green. They did a lovely job on an NC 750 seat for me a few years ago. Their website is viking-motorcycle-seats.co.uk

Agree Viking Vinyls would be my first port of call. Good service and a cafe next door to keep you going while he modifys the seat,

Thanks for the replies, yes I know of Viking, have also used Holy Goat seats for another bike (find him on FB) who was also top class just in case anyone was interested.
I’ve been looking for a while, found this one a few weeks back but only just arrived with me, only 13k miles and absolutely immaculate. Seller held it for a few weeks, sorted a fresh mot and then delivered it for petrol money in a big box trailer. Well chuffed but I’ve done my time of winter riding so am waiting for spring.
Definitely interested in a swap, will try to message you.
