Hi All,

I have bought an RD09 SLR 650 (German G2 version), that had had its wiring loom stripped back to the bare minimum.
I have replaced the loom complete with one I bought from a breaker in the UK.
From the generator there are 3 yellow wires that go to the regulator/rectifier and white/red cable that seems to come from the generator too.
The cable does measure to ground around 1500 ohms, this drops to a dead short to ground when the neutral switch is switched(in gear).
There is also the neutral switch cable(goes to the green from the loom).

Hope you follow me, in short where should the white/red cable from the generator be connected, I have no spare plugs to connnect.

Would appreciate your wisdom & guidance please guys.

Thanks

Paul

I think the cable is actually to go to the neutral switch, looks like it had been chopped at rubber grommet where it enters the crankcase where the other cables go in for the generator.

All the electrics are working fine now, just some minor tidying up to do and she's ready for her TÜV test. Should have her on the road soon.

Thanks for your help.

Next job is to get rid of the standard cans for a single Akropovic can........
