Hi,
My 2001 AT has 18,000 miles on it. It View attachment 135973 runs poorly and stumbles and vibrates a lot. Over the winter I think a carb strip and rebuild is in order.
Any thought as to have far should I go?
Remove carb?.
Strip?
Fit new jets, gaskets, etc?
Ultrasconic cleaning?
Replace diaphragms (if fitted)?
Sync carbs?

Does the above sound in order?

Regards,
Pat.

With that mileage I wouldnt have thought much should be wrong so I would just ultrasonic clean or just use carb cleaner, jets should be fine in my opinion. You could always use redex as an easy fix first. They all vibrate a little and I have rode a lot of different @s. Try someone elses on the vibration to compare. I would change plugs and service. Good luck

Check the choke is not sticking. Should be nice and smooth. I took off the choke and it runs smoother. (see other threads)
