Hi, I am considering using the TA for some gravel riding. What will i need apart from TKC80's ? Anyone seen a headlight grill for the 600 and a bash plate that looks really good (seen only not so nice but practical bashplates for this bike around). Is it a suitable bike for gravel touring compared to smaller more willing CC engines and KTMs ?

Not much help here but anyway, No, my TA is much of a gravel bike compared to my DRZ400. But the V twin engine sounds better and the seat is more comfortable. Unless you like to follow close to your riding friends throwing gravel at you, a headlight screen is of little value. I made my own skidplate. Sorry, I don't know of a good one to buy. The front forks have progressive springs, Racetec Emulator valves and the forks are still marginal for gravel. Especially the unexpected big holes. I had a 650 KTM which was a terrific gravel bike but the vibration was intolerable. I love my TA for pavement-gravel rides.
