Got a close up of the rear wheel on the '94. Rim is very marked. What do you guys do when they get like this? Is it new rim time, paint?
What could have caused the front mudguard to point up?

Really appreciate you getting back. Should I walk away - what about @ £1600 although he said no offers? The Gumtree ad has been amended, only 7 photos now & mudguard looks straighter.

hard to say without seeing up close. i would think £1,600 is a fair price. it only has 6 months MOT too

don't forget it will cost you £350 for a new rear wheel.

and the huge silencer looks daft

here is the wheel...

Hadn't spotted the crash bars, would have made a good haggling point but he's just told me no offers so I'll pass. See what happens with it.

I really want the nicest example possible & this is a bit scruffy (e.g. seat would need recovering) but I did ask the (8th) owner some questions about this one. He didn't know what had been done to restrict it to A2 compliance. Has mot advisory for chain so that probably means sprockets too. If I knew I could easily de-restrict it I might make a low offer. Actually only 10 moths mot, not a full year. Would the wheel get condemned when I take it for the new tyre?
Come on someone - put a really nice one up that I could go & see!

the trouble is there just are not that many decent ones around, and any that are proper decent are £2,000+

Restrictor Kit location: Inside inlet rubber(s), between carburettor(s) and cylinder head(s)
