Thanks for that,

I have always thought spraying was a bit of a dark art, I have sprayed a few cars in the past with cellulose paints and had mixed fortunes. Lots of colour sanding

This is the first time I’ve sprayed with two pack and I am impressed with the results.

The plan was to swap my Kawasaki Tengai, that I restored, for a Guzzi California and make a nice Bobber out of it.

Spotted this one MOTO GUZZI Easy Rider - Peter F by Mandello

Very Nice

The one I got was an Injection version with the ecu under the seat and it was too good to start messing with.

I should have held out for a carb version.

So bought some second hand parts, give it a deep clean and changed the red on red colour for black (clearly the only colour for this type of bike)

Still don't know what I'm going to do with it when it's finished ??

Well I didn't make it to the National

Scared off by the weather reports, I'm not so much a fair weather biker but I am a fair weather camper

Hats off to all those who attended, it sound like you all had a great time.

I have been to a couple and I'll be there next year (weather permitting)

As a consequence I got loads done to the bike

And now

The new bars are much wider. I've had to order a longer clutch cable and front brake hose.

Still got the rack to finish

Looking good though

nice project looks good :thumb:,
always liked the look of guzzi's,
never owned or ridden one but they do seem to have a bit of character, which seems to be a missing ingredient from most bikes these days
