Right guys, I'm getting just a bit worried here. I'm sorry I've been absent but it's a bit chaotic in my world right now.
To date we have had payments into the bank account but so far no feedback as to who on what has been paid in.
We HAVE to link paypal to a bank account but without knowledge of what is going in we can't do that.
These are things we absolutely have to know.
Philip, I'm going to PM and text you tonight, even if you are too busy to deal with these things yourself you need to hand over access to the bank account to someone who has the time to spend sorting these things out.
We appear to be at a stop here, and won't be able to progress without this information.
Just sent payment for ferry £34.00 - as the account details where already setup from last year I used this payee but it didnt let me enter my forum name as reference. Will prob have ref as TLD2010.
Let me know you receive it okay.
We really need to know who's payments have been received.
Another 20 minutes on the phone to those useless twats in paypal. After leading me a dance they then said I would have to deal with their compliance and due diligence dept - which - guess what - closed at 5pm. They couldnt tell me this 20 minutes earlier and save my phone bill!!! Anyhow, someone will call me from there toomorrow. Allegedly!
Correct me if I'am wrong, but the TLD account was set up in Phil's name, that means the only person who can deal with Paypal to get the account sorted is Phil. No matter what phone calls you make Tom, its is Phil's account and only he can link it to Paypal. I paid for my decals and got an email saying I hade paid Tom Boyle. I am not worried because I assume you will transfer the money to the TLD account. So its up to Phil to get the account linked and no one else. Think about it, can I link Tom Boyle's account to my HSBC account, of course not.

Another 25 minutes gone up the spout trying to get paypal to sort it out. Got through in the end to their limitations and due diligence dept - so I thought - to go through it all again, only to be told the guy was just taking the message and passing it on!! Paypal have to to be the worst bunch of tossers to deal with ever.
Mark the issue is nothing to do with the bank account. The paypal acount isnt event linked to the tsb account yet because there is in effect a block on the account actions until we show them we're a registered charity or not for profit organisation. Ive expalined now, 3 times, over the course of a total of 65 minutes on the phone, WE are NOT a Charity, we RAISE money for chairty. And all Im getting is the run around. They keep insisting we produce our charity number.
The closing comment from the dildo that I spoke to this time was, ''yeah well, I'll pass the info to them but I cant make them call you back you know.'' !!!!!!
Ok - finally got them to lift the block on the account. I've started the process of registering the account as a business account linked to the longest day bank account at lloyds. Phil you need to check the account around wednesday and let me know that they deposited in the account - there will be 2 small deposits, so I can complete the verification.
Sorry chaps been working a lot trhe last few days so just catching up, is this issue now sorted and if so how many riders money for the Chunnel have we had in and who has paid, I think I need to speak to Eurotunnel and explain we aren't going to hit the 12th deadline and can they requote the discount, it will probably mean that those who have paid will have to pay a bit more, shame really, but heh ho, not a lot we can do.
I have spoke to Mark,
We are both happy enough to organise TLD2012 and get any help if needed along the way.
Once the route have decided, however its going to done, Mark and I will get the ball rolling.
Russ - I guess it will be okay for you to help with the art work again!!
If that okay...
From things that happened over this weekends TLD, we need to think of a stopping from happening

Concerning T-shirts, decals ect, last year there was some discussion about how expensive these ended up being, so some guidance on the design would be appreciated, for example the prices for printing can vary enormously depending on how many colours are used...single colour prints on the...
