Friend of mine used her oven to "bake" a cylinder head. Some experimental use of glue (real hardass loctite stuff) to put new valve seats in the engine.

I've personally had the back wheel of the GS on the kitchen table to replace some spokes, hey it was cold (and cramped) in the shed. ;-)
