Hi All, I'm doing a quick trip to Brisbane to pick up a doner Trans Alp and need to pull front end and swing arm / rear wheel off to fit on a pallet for shipping to Darwin. I will be cutting the frame to fit it on as the frame is bent and i have a spare. Just after some info on what tools i may need to do this so i can turn up prepared..... Cheers Cam

Hi it's a 650 not sure the year View attachment 134185
I'd take a standard metric socket set if you can carry it...it's all straightforward stuff, and relatively low torque for both spindles. Take a handful of ring spanners as well...12, 14 15 and 17 come in handy for a TA...owners often replace bolts with allen bolts, 6 & 8mm are common sizes

I'll guarantee you'll have tools you don't need and one that you do....at home :D

They're pretty agricultural things....you'll be fine

Rear spindle 17/24mm
Caliper mounts & fork pinch bolts 12mm
Front axle 17mm, axle pinch bolts & mudguard bolts 10mm
Top yoke nut 30mm
Swingarm spindle nut 24mm, not sure of bolt head, 17 or 22mm I think.
Plus 17 & 14mm for suspension pivot bolts if you are removing the swingarm
