Hi,

does anyone have the torque settings for the following on a XL650V-6;

Steering stem nut

Fork yolk bolts

Brake caliper bolts

Front wheel spindle clamp nuts

and anything else on the front end that I've forgotten :D

cheers, Bob.

just remember torque settings are fine when the bolts are brand new and the bike is in the factory with proper calibrated equipment.

domestic torque wrenches are often not calibrated that well and its very easy to shear an old bolt off, or strip a thread etc

after cracking a sump from using a torque wrench (at nowhere near the recommended setting) i personally would not use a torque wrench for bolts such as these, just tighten up until it 'feels' tight enough
