Have a look at the microfisches to see if the part numbers are similar for the hubs

wont be as AT has two discs and TA has one

Just took a look at the fisches

600TA from 97 onwards has twin discs and the 97-99 shares the same wheels entirely as the ATs from 89-99 only the last AT 99-2002 is showing an identical hub assembly but without the in ner axle spacer.

I have wheels off a 98 AT bike on my 2002 AT with no issues at all

So on that basis I would expect the 97-99 TA wheel would fit. You'd have to try a later one (650) to see if this worked too

Thanks guys i think it will be easier to get a new rim and have it rebuilt at sfx, i think its the original wheel so 14 years old i guess i cant complain about the cost ;)
