Hi guys and girls, just got my first AT, wanted one for a long time.
Quick question, I'm planning a trip to Morroco next year and can't decide what tyres to go for, was thinking maybe Avon Distanza.
Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers

Sean

I am running these at the mo - seem good - had them out today in wet conditions - handled well. In the dry they are great.

if you are mainly sticking to main roads or the principal pistes you will be fine on normal dual sport tyres. Sandy and rocky desert or the rough mountain pistes might need something a bit more rugged but as it is mostly dry you don't agressive mud tyres.

Heidenau K60s and the Mitas E07s are very similar in tread pattern and price

i agree with the lads about mitas. i run the E09's(dakar model) here in the desert with great results, mostly hard gravel roads and off-road. did me great in sand as well.getting real good milage as well and here they are almost half the price of the competition.on tar i push them to 170km still behaving well. for longer roads on-off ill use the E07's with the 09 as backup. they are also well priced and some report up to 20 000kms on them! most other similar tyres are seemingly softer compound for the wet in europe, and i have heard that the 07's does not like wet grass? so unless your gonna take a spin on the royal lawns, noworries, as i think morocco may have some grass for sale, but none to ride on:D
