Conclusion: Half worn TKC80's are better than really sticky semi slick Bridgestone battlax's.
It also helps to scrub in tyres properly before trying to keep up with mudwiz :rolleyes:
Another point, the man on the gsxr600 is pooo and I can loose him on a twisty road on my old dominator! :hitler:

Ah, I wanted to mention your tyres but failed at remembering what they were... (Ones with big knobbles ;) )

Yes he got home ok. He was riding a little fast considering he only had a rear brake which wasn't exactly perfect. All it needs to be back on the road is the coolant hose/cap/bit of engine sorted along with a new front brake lever.
