We can upload jpeg files to our "attachments" to the page foldeand as uploads direct to the page, but why not MP3 files? I suppose I need to use a link to a url in my domain website?

Usually photo's aren't a large file size, mp3 and video is much larger and it's easier to use hosting sites and then link the file. :thumbleft:
IKWYM about big files, just wondered if I could upload a small file

Cheers Nick, I uploaded it to my semi-redundant website in the end

MP3 files tend to be quite large and allowing users to upload them onto the site would just slow down the forum. As well there is always the risk of users uploading content that they do not have the legal rights to (like music) onto the forum. If you wish to upload an Mp3 or video to the forum please us a 3rd party hosting site to do so.

Thanks

Why not upload to You Tube and paste the link into a forum post?
