Any ideas, and this isnt the normal cutting out as you roll up to lights. The bike suddenly developed a problem yesterday. It will tick over on the mainstand fine, and I rode it 100 miles on the motorway, but as soon as you come to a stop then try to pull away it just cuts out. The only way to get it moving is to rev the tits off it and slip the clutch, then keep it revving. Pretty sure its not sidestand switch, and I've checked battery voltage on tickover, under 14V, so pretty sure Regulator is ok.
Any one else had this and know the cure ?? Cheers
Sounds like an F1 problem, they just don't like getting hot and when at a stand still for any length of time it's almost like it's starved of fuel.
Try using the better quality fuel , super unleaded.
Probably fuel pump failure. Also check the tank breather isn't blocked as that can cause strain on the pump.
Are any warning lights showing? When the HISS antenna begins to fail it can cause intermittent cut-outs (but usually at random moments, not only when pulling away).
First prize that man, I just found a broken wire on the key reader. Are they bike specific, or would a Blackbird one fit as it could save me a few quid.
