Any interest in this before she is put to bed for the winter?

Loosing interest in riding the same roads and looking after the bikes so they new homes.(See add flor KLR 650)

I would sat the bike is in very good condition. At some time she has been down on offside I think very light --brake lever slightly bent in and if you are very critical the paintwork on the fairing is not original--very hard to spot. Last year some kids got in the garage and when I turned up and they panicked, they knocked the bike over damaging the tank. Estimate from a local specialist by phone was £250.

As I was due to travel, I bought a Baglux cover new(160ish?) and then a second hand bag same colour. The screen could do with replacing as viewed from the inside, there are some strange stress lines, on when I bought her.

Other than that a few scuffs and touch up on the mirrors, and a few age related marks. Overall she is still very smart .
Mechanically, no known faults, and done a European trip last year faultlessly, excellent to travel on very comfortable and quite economical.
I damaged the Africa twin before that European trip, bought this the week before, and loved it. A much better loaded traveller than the Africa twin,--handles great. (Had an older one which was a pig)

The bike is MOTD until 29.07.2019, and will be serviced before sale. Sat nav holder will be removed. 4 previous owners

Mileage 23,xxx-- Price £2500ono If there is any interest, I have some better res photos.

Thanks,

Bill

Dear All,

Had a few enquiries, but the tank damage is pitting people off, even with the Baglux. In the original advert I said that I had a phone quote for £250 to repair the tank.

To firm this up, this morning I took the bike to the repair centre and got a written estimate for taking the bike in, and they remove the tank, repair and refit === £216. Paint code in docs. The centre said it was an easy fix.

So armed with this info is anyone interested? Final price of £2200--you get the bike serviced--not that it needs it!

Thanks,

Bill
