Does anyone know the length of the original shock of a mk2 abs varadero? I would like to compare it with the bitubo shoch that it is fitted to my bike at the moment.

Fit a VTR1000 shock, straight fit. Slightly narrower top shock eye, could be shimmed 1mm or there abouts. Job done.

Cheap as chips on ebay. Buy & fit a cheap rough looking one £25 or so & if your impressed (you will be) buy a tidy one.
