Update on the 17" front wheel.

I have been keeping my eyes peeled for 6 spoke CBR600f3 front wheels on eBay & have managed to win a couple <img src="http://www.xrv.org.uk/forums/images/smilies/icon_cool.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Cool" class="inlineimg" />

Here are some pictures with them fitted to the bike <img src="http://www.xrv.org.uk/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif" border="0" alt="" title="thumbup" class="inlineimg" />

Hi.
Love your bike and the mods done.
Can you show me a pic of this fork brace that you mention .

Where would I get 1 from and how does it fit to the Varadero?
Thanks.

Hi, the fork brace is a 1990's CB1 400cc item. There were loads for sale once on ebay but it's been a while since I've looked.

Here ya go.

You'll have to modify the front mudguard ( chop the top off the strut protectors ) Or fit CBR600 F2 mudguard & lots of faf if you fit a 17" wheel.

Hello, know this is an old wall, but just some info.
Bought old 2003 F/I Varadero, was regd as ''Built up" or rebuilt.
Had a full Triumph front forks, rim, calipers and mudguard.
Seems to work well, smooth on the road and quick turn in!
