I've just given the bike the once over to ensure it's ready for Germany in a fortnight and it appears the back tyre isn't going to make it. 4000 miles out of a Tourance and it's just about done. Never mind they were fun miles but at this rate I will be going through six of them a year. :eek:

At least the front should see the replacement out.

Get Anakee 2s - just as much grip - if not more and they last longer 6000 mls - and I have lots of fun - inc an Austrian Tyrol Trip and home to Welsh Lanes

Is that the hidden cost of a rich, full-bodied engine?? Mine's barely squared after around 6000m...

Perhaps sir desires some restrictive engine mapping? No? Thought not.

I bet you got the "new" tourance on your bike.Try the old ones,i got every time more then 10k out of my rear tyre:thumbup:
