The weather forcast suggest's it may be a bit nippy going down to Pembroke so not wanting cold fingers i had a quandry :confused:.

Fit heated grips . . . . £75 . . . . nah

Bar muffs, a bit restricting and . . . £30 . . . nah

Make custom made bar muffs using stuff lying round in garage . . . £00 . . . Yay.:cool:

A piece of old cheapo carrymat was cut to shape, . . . stuck with spray adhesive, . . . tied on with string, . . . reinforced with gaffer tape, . . . .

Hey presto. :cool::D:D

The question now is;

Will my hands be any warmer ?

Will they still be on when i get to pembroke dock ? :rolleyes:

Have i just wasted 2 hour's on a folly ? :D :D

Feel free to run a sweep on how far we get before they disappear. :thumbup: :D :D

I think you may be lucky and they will last the trip down, as long as it does not rain.

i use these only £19.99. i have made slight modification by removing the bar end weight, made a small hole in the muff and re-fitting the bar end weight so clamping the outter end of the muff works great no more cold hands no electrics to go wrong;);)
appologies for the subject matter, it was the only pic i could find :D:D:D
