Braking into the first corner

Roostin' the spectators!

Stuck in a rut...

Grabbing a breather

Whatever happens, don't lose your sense of humour!

Nice pics & good to see people who treat their bikes as tools to be used - not wrapped in cotton wool!

Yes no danger of that..... going by the number of people looking seriously fed up at their shagged bikes.

Didn't either of you feel like getting out there in the melee on your AT's?

Well Iain did say at one point he reckoned he could get his AT up one dune.
I think there were 30 odd though!

Last year there was a KTM Paris Dakar thingy that went in for it. It lasted an hour if I remember correctly!!

I've been over to Ireland a couple of times, where they have a much more enlightened approach to land access. :D There's a number of beaches on the west coast which are similar to that at Weston. Certainly running down the beach at low tide, throttle pinned open, sat on the numberplate, is a damn good ride!

But the two things I hate most when riding are soft sand and ruts, and at Weston you'd be riding for 3 hours in both.

A couple of hundred lunatics desperate to fall down in front of you might be a tad tiresome too!
