Had to retire, for now, the 600. Got myself a very nice condition 650.
Couple of issues i've seen so far : The facia on the clocks is very difficult to take off,
I need to change the indicator relay for LED one, not easy to get it off.
I've taken all the screws that I can see out, have even taken the screen screws out,
still doesn't seem loose. And yes I took out the 2 insert plastic lugs on the inside.

What else do you do? Force it? Hmm

My 600 one came from the top and just pull it towards you.

It's locked to the painted fairing by tabs, so work/wiggle one side inwards, once free the other side should come out easily. There is also an annoying little tab at each side at the top of the grey dash trip - your life will be so much easier if someone else has already broken these off!
