Hi all, Advice needed.
A friend was visiting and we went out on the bikes. The XRV 650 over heated and cut out, we let it cool and limped home.
I have started to strip the bike down, and found a tiny hole in the thermostat housing that must have leaked.
So, when I went to drain the coolent, as usual, I removed the drain plug on the water pump and out came what little liquid that remained. Unfortunately, I have just gone to put the drain bolt back in, and realised it has actually snapped and left the thread in the pump.
So the question is:
Is it possible to remove the pump with the engine in the frame?
