I want to swap out my front fork springs. They're far too soft. And not just go with the lazy option of throwing in generic progressive springs. These don't change the rate of the spring correctly for the rider. They just mask the problem when diving.

Does anyone know the stock spring rates ?

Thanks

Thanks Paul. This is what I got from your link.

Stock Fork Spring Rate
0.43
Stock Shock Spring Rate
8.4

0.43 is INCREDIBLY soft for the weight of the bike. It's less than a DRZ400 stock spring rate. Which is too soft too. I run 0.50's in my DRZ400 just for off-roading.

I think I'll be buying for 0.55s for the XRV750. And probably drop the fork oil to 5w again to compensate.
