FANTASTIC information regarding the history of this legendary V-twin engine, especially relevant to me today as I have my latest 2002 engine in bits changing the drive shaft bearing, oh and what fun we had trying to get thetwo cases back together then ended up bending the oil pump tube so the cases would not mesh!!!! Sorted now but caused a headache for an hour or two!!!

Informative find!

Never heard of a Honda ReverSe though....
No mention of all the other variations fitted to 600/750 shadow & PC800.

Reading the excellent article reminded me that Alldays and Onions built (or advertised they were building) a stagger crank V twin motorcycle in 1913, I found that out when I was researching a 1913 single I had about 30 years ago.

Fascinating! Funny how the very thing that makes a motorbike what it is, usually gets ignored in favour of the shiny bits.
