What do you specifically want from the jacket. Last November I took the plunge a n got a Rukka Armax. There is, in my opinion, nothing to touch it. The outer surface is the waterproof bid so no sodden heavy jacket at the end of the day and it dries out really quickly so so cold damp kit in the morning. Its one hell of a price but I now have a cupboard full of cheaper kit that is redundant.
I always aspired to a barbour or belstaff in the early 1970s but couldnt afford them then. My heart temps me but my head says Rukka
