Hi All!

I'll cut to the chase, I bought some turning signals (whole units) from eBay, went to fit them and I cannot figure out how to attach them to the current setup.

The ones I'm replacing plug into the wiring via an orange plastic sheath/clip

but the ones I've ordered just have bare copper connectors at the end (see pic)

1. How do I connect the new ones to the internal wiring?
2. How do I get under the console? I can't seem to find any way of getting behind there(which is where the wiring goes!)

I've gone through the Haynes service and repair manual but it doesn't seem to cover replacing the units.

Happy to answer anymore questions if you have some guidance for me! Or you can tell me I've bought the wrong thing...
Cheers

If the old lights are scrap, cut the connector with as much wire on it as possible left on it. Strip back the wires and work out which line is + / - voltage from the bike with a multi meter or a 12v bulb (looking at a wiring diagram from a 750 orange is the positive front left and blue front right). Then solder or connect the new light to the old plug.

hope this helps.
