I guess I'm just a victim of the myth, and sucker for the looks.

I currently have severall Leather jackets, Goretex jackets, and even a BMW Rallye II tw@at suit, but no waxed cotton jacket.

Last night I did however watch an episode of" Long way around something" on TV and their suits did not perform in the way I thought they would.
They became wet to the bone when driving in the rain.
So I guess You're all correct when You say that they're not worth the money.
