Just brought a 1985 CX650 seemingly a quite uncommon version of the CX500 family, only made a few 1000s worldwide for a year or so.
Many of those I ride with have BMW r600/750/800 so had to get something different and found this in Cardiff when I was looking for something quite different on the internet. A mate had 3 CXs when he was dispatching so he came along as the 'expert' when I went to look. Done 40000 miles and had 9 owners but not done much over the last few years other than been in Bristol to Yorks, Lancs then to Cardiff.

as I have found a different version a 1986 GL650 Silverwing.
The GL650 has done 22000 miles with 2 previous owners 1(86-89) 2(89-2017), previous owner rode it regularly from 89 to 95 then covered ~ 1000 miles between 95 and current. Plastics good much of the chrome looks good from a distance but is pitted when looked at closely, needs a topbox for the Mrs to rest against probably get a cheapo HD Tourpak styled box with a backrest, but needs some sorting to fit it without modding the original bike.
