The bearing housings are looking a bit tired...

I want to build a strong rear wheel for racing and need to start with a good base.

I know that Bruno (Porompompero) used a KTM rear hub to build his Excel 18" x 2.5" (36 spoke hole as well which is readily available) rear wheels for his project bikes. Much better choice of tyres for the mud biased racer :thumbright:

You will have to fit a Brembo rear brake and to fabricate the right spacers but with the advantage of 4kg weight loss and if you wish you can also use a 520 chain set.......
